STEPHANIE ALLAN PHOTOGRAPHY

Stephanie Allan was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. In her 28 years, she has lived in Trinidad, New Jersey, Ontario, California, Illinois, London, and Massachusetts. Her travels spurred an interest in architecture and a passion for photography. In 2002, while attending a semester abroad in London, she took her first black and white photography class. When she returned to her psychology studies at Bradley University in Peoria, IL, she pursued photography for two more years. After graduating, Stephanie accepted a job for two years at a portrait photography studio. In 2007, she was accepted to Hallmark Institute of Photography for their 10-month program in Turners Falls, MA. She graduated June 20, 2008 and received an Award of Excellence for scoring in the top 10% of all portfolios. She was a finalist in the 28th Annual Best of College Photography Contest, and had three images selected as People's Choice in Miami's AIA 2008 architecture photography contest.
